They were nice band when I was seriously younger, and I believe the big job they have done is they attracted many new listeners to metal with symphonic arrangements. This time is gone long ago though

I'm a big fan, though It's been a while since I listened to them. Im waiting for the new album to come out, I still want to know what's going on with it and the new drummer.
DT for jazz-related metal (*cough* and Planet X *cough*) |

LOL NO.
And I'm a HUGE DT fan. I can understand the "jazz metal" bands such as Planet X, Cynic, Atheist, or Exivious, but not Dream Theater, oh god no.

Whoah...
I had to check if Dream Theater were on here. This got me thinking. I'd be curious to see a list of bands that are on each of Prog Archives, Metal Music Archives, and Jazz Music Archives. Jazz being the common link no doubt .

Jazz metal bands would be the list, like Cynic, Exivious, and Planet X

Jimi Hendrix is the first that comes to mind that could legitimately belong to Prog Archives, Metal Music Archives, and Jazz Music Archives. |
