Do jazz bands owe anything to their fans?

Dark, evil jazz music

The Arrogant Jazzie

Defining Jazz: The Eternal Question

My JMA rant: Stop reviewing jazz genres you dislike!

Are jazz listeners more intelligent?

When were you infected by jazz?

Do you hate certain jazz because of its popularity?

The 80, the worst era for jazz

Why isn't jazz popular?

Where are we, listening to jazz

Who enjoys jazz music more?

Do you prefer Natural Jazz or Artificial Jazz?

Does jazz refer to musical style or structure

Faux Jazz Fans

Nice

Yknow, I actually always felt the 90s was the worst decade for jazz, the 80s had a lot of good stuff (unfortunately also the height of smooth jazz). The 2000s saw jazz pick up its feet somewhere towards the middle of the decade (from my perspective) and right now the future of jazz is uncertain (as it always has been)

but maybe this is the wrong thread to even bring this up Clown

Where does Romanticism fit within jazz music?

The jazz fan on the other side

Why isn't jazz popular?

Does jazz refer to music style or stucture?

What makes people find jazz boring?
