Born 1944 - Died 2001. Slovenian jazz musician (trumpet, violin) and composer. Ugrin was member of many Yugoslavian jazz projects at the time. He recorded one solo album in 1979.

Excellent addition. He also released one more album in the 90s. I will check and add it.
Now, what's the policy regarding the name of the country? Should we lump them all together under "Yugoslavia" or to assign them to particular former republics, now independent states? Of course, I am talking about the artists that were active in the period until 1990, not new names that appeared after this year.

For albums ,released till 1991,we use country of origin Yugoslavia. Bands as rule have more detailed origin - one of former Yugoslavian republic (as Macedonia for Leb I Sol). Single artists are adding according to their place of birth - in case of Yugoslavia it's one of modern ex-Yu states.
