Don Preston may be best known as the keyboard player withFrank Zappa's Mothers of Invention band, buthe is also  a jazz pianist who has worked with, among others,Gil Evans , Nat Cole ,Charlie Haden , John Carter and Carla Bley

Not too many samples of his music on the net


I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...
