I am not gettin my email LOL Left in the dark. Wink Yeah thats what I meant with the films and docos and stick the albums with them as well. I know about how much we gotta do still but just a thought for the future with books having a section as well not just the topic area.
We have to educate as best as we can and books and doco's are still the best. Not aimed at us of course but there is some dodgy stuff on the internet for information.

Yeah, it says 'books and miscellaneous reviews', in this case, miscellaneous would include movies.

Oh   ...I think you're right.
Movie reviews would probably go in the forum just like the book reviews.

"Shaft" is already here, its a Isaac Hayes soundtrack.
The "Round Midnight" movie is here too, its a Herbie Hancock soundtrack.
We do have a jazz soundtrack genre Wink

We've discussed the issue of no place for comps, which would be similar or same as docs, but thats something we'll have to get Max to add.

Hi to all, How about an area for these mentioned above.

Ken Burns Jazz
Clint Eastwoods ....Bird
Round Midnight........Dexter Gordon
Anatomy of a Murder
Glen Miller story etc
Shaft....yeah Shaft Wink
They have to be specific jazz films not just a movie with bits of jazz in the soundtrack

The Art Kane Jazz portrait.........there is a doco as well as the photo.

Billy Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Beny More, they all have doco's or films

Posters, Prints are another to cover

And also how about a genre for Sountracks.
