In 1993, he was awarded a certificate of Accomplishment for “Most Improved Drum Student” at Music Technical Institute in Minneapolis. A few months after school he became the father of Jazzlyn. So he went on to pursue a career in music business, while remaining an active artist. So, he began programming music for accompaniment for his drumming.
In 1998, he received a “Certificate of Achievement” in the world category from the 8th Billboard Song Contest. In 1999, he received 2 “Honorable Mentions” in the world category from the 9th Billboard Song Contest. In 1999, he had his first release with Chi-Lin Records in Taiwan.
By the early 2000’s he began working closely with many labels as a co-A&R and marketing contributor. In 2001, he released an album under the name Eastern Dub Tactik through Waveform Records. The album reached the number 8 spot on the BBC Radio 1 – Bobby Friction &
