Lisa Bassenge discovered her passion for singing at the age of 16. Music in general became a dependable support for her life. After finishing school she studied singing at the famous Hanns Eisler music conservatory in Berlin. There she met Paul Kleber who over the years became one of her best friends as well as her partner in crime for all her musical projects. They both are involved in all of Lisa Bassenge’s bands and products incl. Lisa Bassenge Trio, Micatone, the electronic chanson-project Nylon as well as the newest trio set-up. Lisa Bassenge has toured through Europe and Asia with different bands and has appeared on several TV-shows as a guest incl. Harald Schmidt Show and ZDF Morgenmagazin.
