Fantastic trumpet player/composer

Last year's Phenomenology was labeled as a "masterpiece" in Downbeat and was one of my favorite releases of the year.

That shows you the power of music, that magician of magician, who lifts his wand, says his mysterious word and all things real pass away and the phantoms of your mind walk before you clothed in flesh.

Thank you.  He's definitely a budding star.  He has already put out some amazing stuff this early in his career.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.  He just released another album a few weeks ago.  I have only listened to it a couple times so far but seems top-notch.

I can't believe it when some people say Jazz is dead.  The current scene, USA and in Europe, starting around the late-90's is unbelievable!  We'll look back at this era as another "golden age" of Jazz.
